Te Huamanuka Luiten-Apirana has worked as a performer, playwright, storyliner, singer, stage manager and producer in the arts industry. She is an award-winning playwright and was the recipient of Creative New Zealand’s Emerging Artist Award in 2021. Te Huamanuka is an advocate for Māori storytelling and constantly looks for ways to develop her skills and deepen her connection to other creatives.
