This month we celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori and Mahuru Māori, marking 50 years since the establishment of the Māori Language Week.

This whakataukī reminds us of the gatherings at this time of year where people have come together to hold wānanga & enjoy pō whakangahau, all warmed by a blazing fire.

The June-July period proved to be very busy as we bid farewell to Matariki mā Puanga and welcomed Te Rua o Takurua. We delved straight into the many kaupapa including our Rautaki Reo Focus Groups hui, Aho Shorts Development Lab, Doc Edge, Big Screen Symposium.
