First Aid Course for Te Ao Pāpāho

The Foundation First Aid Certificate Course has been designed specifically to suit te ao pāpāho.

Suitable for smaller, low risk workplaces; an eight hour, fun and interactive course that will gain you an H&S compliant certification. This course is designed to give people confidence to cope with medical emergencies and accidents at the workplace, or at home.

The course will consist of a mixture of instruction, facilitated discussion and scenarios. Scenario-based learning involves working with other people, both patients and team members, and then debriefing what happened. Scenarios are designed to maximise learning – not to show you what you don’t know.  

This course is a certificated course with minimum outcome requirements for each participant. Oral and practical assessments will occur throughout the course. Each participant must meet the requirements of these assessments to achieve the certificate. YOU MUST ATTEND THE ENTIRE COURSE TO RECEIVE CERTIFICATION.

All participants who complete the full course will receive a Digital certification, valid for 2 years.
